I'm still sad that there is no i3 K series chip. That thing would be a budget screamer much like the original i3 is. My 530 at 4.2 flies along very well.

It's not like you can really overclock the a non-K series chip so I agree, you could drop the fans.

I had a look at your case and unless I'm missing something, where does the 3rd drive go? I see a spot for a 5.25" drive (optical) but only 1 slot for a 3.5

The Nova is the previous generation of SSDs.
Anyways, NCIX has the 60 gig Force series (sandforce based) on for $95 after rebate.. which is a much better buy.

I honestly can't believe you're buying $20 orange fans, and say that you're on a budget.
You can also get that stuff cheaper at NCIX with pricematching. I dunno why i'm typed this, cause clearly you didn't read my other post. :)

1)Photoshop is not heavily dependent on multithreading and i3 2100 will reach performance levels near of AMD x6

2)Asrock Sandy Bridge motherboards' pro and user reviews are all around the web. They offer the best value and are in the top range in build quality. You won't find better for their price.

3) DO NOT PURCHASE 1600 RAM FOR H67 motherboards! The highest you can go is 1333. It's written clearly in every H67 motherboard spec sheet.

I figured I'd ask while this is still a relatively new thread: Whats the "best" single slot video card I could hope to use in this system? I would prefer to use an Nvidia card.

There doesn't seem to be any single slot versions of those cards. The best I've seen is a single slot GTS 450. Oh, and I have just under 1" of space between the far side of the PCI bracket and the side of the case so a little bit sticking off the side is alright (Such as this).
