Default NewEgg or NCIX?

Hi all

I am just wondering if anyone here has bought parts from NewEgg.ca and if so, how has the service been?

I have order from NCIX for all my parts and this year will be my first complete build in 10 years. I like the Egg's prices, very competitive and I am looking for some feedback from ppl who have bought from there.

Thanks.

I have ordered from Newegg, no different really. I have not had to deal with customer support or anything like that so I can't comment on that. You could always pricematch if you don't want to use Newegg.

depend on your location...

ncix also accepts price match...

well, both are decent,i find the egg a bit more expeditive when it comes to having your order out the door, on average

so,1-follow your pocket(i.e. whichever is cheaper if ncix doesnt approve the pricematch) or 2-send your money to canadian pockets.

thanks all,

I was really interested in delivery times, though I have not had to wait too long with NCIX.

I live in Cold Lake AB, so not sure where my order would come from if I ordered it from NewEgg. For NCIX, it comes from BC

Keep in mind where you will be shipping it if anything goes wrong or whether the store offers a service that allows you to get free return shipping. Costs extra, but it is a very nice feature when you need it.

I ordered from newegg a few days ago, and it shipped from New Jersey. I believe the last order I placed did as well, and I did not pay any duties, etc. Not sure if it would ship from somewhere else since you are in BC.

Both are ok..

We in Ontario used to only get GST charges with NCIX, but now they are in Ontario and HST is in..., they are about the same..

Price match and price could be the main different..

Another thing you have to think about is that NCIX have store in BC and GTA, so RMA and returns could be done without paying for shipping... but if you can't get to the store anyway.. it don't matter
