I've got lots of love for WD Black drives. 640gb & up.

A 60GB SSD for OS + 2TB HDD for storage is the best combo ever. Cost a lot more but the speed is well worth the money.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. Would a 60GB SSD have enough room for Windows 7 Premium 64bit plus a couple of FPS I play frequently? Or would I even bother putting games on there?

I have a 60GB SSD partitioned and run 2 installs of W7 ultimate so yeah a 60 is probably enough for a few games as well. Personally I keep my game installs and DLs on a separate drive though and then I dont have to worry about it.

Yeah I'm running a 60gb SSD as well. just like dangtx said, as soon as you install, you'll wish you had more space lol.

Anyways on my 60gb i have win7, office, DA2 and that's it aside from a few smaller apps...currently have 26.4gb free.

Then again, I did move my pagefile.sys off drive and a few other tweaks that freed up a few gigs.

while moving the page file off the ssd will be beneficial, long term wise, for the life expectancy, it might not be quite the best
thing to do in terms of overall system performance...:)

Huh? You mean the pagefile that will likely NEVER get used in a system with 8GB of RAM? It's a good idea to move it off the SSD because it frees up space, as well as reducing write/cycles if for some reason you do get into the pagefile. Turning off indexing is more important for SSD life, IMHO.

Edit: And there's some very good suggestions by Eldonko above for parts. I'd take his list and run with it.
