Default Internal USB 3.0 Header

I'm not really sure what to expect here but I figured I'd ask just in case I'm missing something.

So while looking around on Newegg I saw this neat little adapter. The only problem is that I have to route the cable outside my case to connect it to the USB 3.0 ports on the motherboard. Now, the motherboard I'm looking at has an internal USB 3.0 header so my question is:

Can I somehow connect the device to the internal USB 3 header?

Routing it outside the case is an ugly option. Normally that wouldn't be an issue but I'm building a Mini-ITX system. My case only has one expansion slot and it'll be occupied by a video card. I can make it work id I drill a hole here or there but it won't be pretty if/when a solution comes availible to this little "issue".

Nope. You the only way to hook up USB 3.0 to a motherboard header is by using the according plug. You'd have to run that to the back of the case like any other USB one currently used.
