My System Specs

Default CM932 Black Edition vs Lian Li PC-A70F

Looking for some opinions for a friend trying to decide between these two cases.

Build will consist an i7 920 OC'd, Asus R2E, Corsair H70 cooler or similar, and a mid-range graphics card that's tba.

Thoughts, suggestions, opinions?

Why is your friend considering the 932 over the HAF X?

I don't have direct experience with the PC-A70F, but I considered it before settling with a HAF X. I chose the HAF X because it seemed significantly more practical. The HAF X is extremely easy to work with, flexible in the ways it may be used, is easy to maintain and looks much better in person than it does in pictures. I also find it to be very quiet.

The PC-A70F looks great in pictures, but I thought it would look less great in practice with dust and fingerprints to contend with.

But I'm all about substance over style.

Thanks for the comments guys... I think the $50 difference 932 vs haf x is most of the issue. And he really likes the overall build quality on the Lian li.

Keep the opinions coming

I haven't used either model, but I personally think that everybody should own at least one Lian-Li in their lifetime....

I lean more towards classy, but he's still trying to figure out what he wants. Sometimes the only way to know these sorts of things is to have owned/done builds in enough cases to have a good feel for what you'd like to have in your room for a couple of years.

Honestly at that price range I really like the NZXT Phantom it is a beautiful case and has tons of room. Also it is slightly cheaper which is good :) Out of those choices though you rerally can;t go wrong with a lian li they are beautiful.

If you're going CM get the Haf X it's worth the extra over the 932

I like my 932....only thing is there are no filters, so dust will be an issue.
