Default Vengeance or Ripjaws X

I am building a SB build and it will have either a C14 or D14 Noctua heatsink. Will both of these ram be compatible with that and the p8p67 deluxe?

Which ram do you prefer? The vengeance 8 gig 1600mhz 8-8-8 1.5v I can get as special for $110 right now and ripjaws x similar model for $150. What about the 8 gig 1600mhz 9-9-9 for $109?

I am leaning towards the Vengeance for the 8-8-8 with the special price of $110 but will it fit with those heatsinks?

Whether or not the Corsairs will fit will depend on your motherboard and the spacing between the CPU socket and RAM slots.

The Ripjaws X and the Ripjaws I have in front of me are the same height, so I would assume they would fit under most Noctua heatsinks.

Timings become less and less relevant as clock speed increases. Go for the cheapest and highest clocked set you can get.

Noctua NHC14, depending on the orientation of the cooler once installed, will completely overhang the motherboard or the nearest DIMM slot and, if installed with the Vengeance kit, will push against the second one. may be a better idea to go for a tower cooler, something that doesn't obscure the memory slots too much, such as the Venomous X, Super Mega etc.

I just found this out. I have recommended both parts together before and I regret doing so. :(

Install it with the heatpipes facing the top of the board (or can you not do that?)
Who needs a real doctor when you got my machines and their scary needles?
I also go by Silver Blues in lots of other places.
