looks like you did your homework. 2600k if you want to spank some folding numbers :)

maybe go with shorter ram sticks so you can fit anything above? :)

the mushkin stiletto's are short. so go with them. i have some tall ram and love them for the cooling potential, but most of my coolers, tower coolers not downdraft ones, cant fit.

ripjaws and the like are a bit taller. that noctua will clear most sticks though

Blacklines are nice and low not likely to have problems with them.
I would go blackline over the silvers.

I'd avoid the Samsung SH-223 optical drive, they're pretty hit and miss for burn quality. You'd be better off grabbing a Samsung SH-243D BEBE and pricematching it to $16.

On a side note, if I went with the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe could I make the 3.5" USB 3.0 header fit into one of my 800D 5.25" drive bays?

I have a question about this build; would installing a PCI-E sound card, or any PCI-E device for that matter, on the third, fourth etc. slot reduce lanes from 8 to 4 for the first two, which will most likely be used for 8x8 dual GPUs?
