new build!!
hey guys...nice site first time poster!!!
I'm looking at building my own system to replace my old Celeron D. The system will not be used for gaming. So mostly surfing, d/l, burning and watching movies, some autocad and file transfer to other pc's in the house. I also want to run Win 7 64 bit.
Here's what i had in mind all from tigerdirect canada. -Asus DRW-24B1ST 24X Internal DVD Burner - DVD±R 24X, DVD+RW 8X, DVD-RW 6X, DVD±R (DL) 12X, DVD-RAM 12X, CD-R 48X, CD-RW 32X, SATA, 2MB, Black, OEM -Western Digital WD1002FAEX Caviar Black Hard Drive - 1TB, 7200RPM, 64MB, SATA 6Gbs
-Ultra LSP650 650-Watt Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, SLI-Ready, 135mm Fan, Lifetime Warranty w/ Registration
-Cooler Master RC-430-KWN1 Elite 430 Mid Tower ATX Case - ATX/Micro-ATX, USB, Audio, 120mm Blue LED Fan, Black
-Corsair 4GB PC6400 800MHz DDR2 Dual Channel Gaming Memory - 2x2048MB
-Cooler Master Hyper N520 CPU Cooler - Socket LGA 775, AM2, AM2+, 1156, AM3, 1366
-Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H AMD785G MB w/ X4 9850 CPU
The only thing i know how it performs is the MB/CPU combo because my wife has the same in her pc. Other then that, i have no clue if the quality is good or even the brand name. I am just reading reviews.
My budget is pretty maxed out at tigerdirect ($616 shipped).
So if there's anything i should change because of brand names or quality, please let know and if there's a better website to buy from that might be cheaper, i'm open the idea's!!!
thanks in advance.
