My System Specs

Default need powersupply help

So I'm building my new computer and i've run into the issue that i need a new power supply will this be able to handle my rig?

NCIX.com - Buy XFX 650W XXX Edition Single Rail Modular ATX Power Supply ATX12V 52A 24PIN 80PLUS Bronze - P1650XCAH9 In Canada.

my set up is as follows

i5 - 760 going to put a h50 on there and over clock it to 4.0ghz
460gtx's SLI'D
8 gigs of corsair XMS3
a 200 mm fan 3x 120mm fan
1x seagate 320gig baracuda
2x seagate 500gig baracudas
2x westerndigital 1tb's

well, give 200 watts for cpu board...add another 25 for fans...another 25 for drives and then add 250-300 for video cards. since that unit puts out quite the numbers on the necessary 12v rail? looking good.

You're more than fine with that unit. I've got a lot more connected than you do on an HX650. Same GFX cards as well.

I ran almost the exact same setup just AMD Phenom II 965 with a nf980a board for SLI. My tx650 ran it find but got uncomfortably hot. So I swapped out to the xfx 750w(seasonic oem) for some efficiency since I don't like heat.

It will work find but if your OC'd dual gpu folding and cpu folding expect a 650watt to blow hot air like a space heater.

it will power your system no problem, but you may want a little more headroom just in case.
