New PC - mid range

So basically my current computer caught on fire, well the power supply did and so I'm building a new PC
with the Black Friday sales at NCIX I've assembled a new PC that follows

Corsairs mailing me a new TX750 watt power supply that i plan on using in the computer

in december i also plan on buying a second ram kit and a second 460GTX to go sli

my current computer is

CPU : Q6600
Motherboard : Evga 680i SLI LT
Video card : PowerCooler HD4850
Ram : 2GB of Corsair XMS2 and 2GB of Firestix

I got around 40-60FPS in call of duty black ops with the Q6600 rig, think i would notice any major FPS increases?

part are good and this PSU is awesome. Getting 8GB of memory is useless unles you want to do VM or thing like CAD. For gaming you will see no gain. Also, if you want to go sli maybe concider a mobo that CAN do sli? this one can't according to MSI web page.

Maybe also add a good cooler to overclock the CPU a bit later?

That's the exact same mobo you showed previously so I think MSI site is right about no sli and NCIX is wrong.
Look at the bottom of the spec, all sli are list with a N/A, only crossfire have a Yes

According to few forum SLI support is trough driver hack.

Ugh, time to go back to the drawing boards, do you have any suggestions as to a cheap / decent mother board?

Okay so I'm going to get the following setup

CPU : i5 760 - going to buy water cooling in December to over clock
Mobo : ASUS Sabertooth 55I
Ram : 4GB of the RIPJAWS
video card : Evga 460GTX - going to buy a second one in December as well

back to my original question do you think i will notice a performance upgrade in video games and by how much

The saber is a really good choice, give us news about it;). For your question, You will notice a difference due to the GPU. Also, some game that are CPU dependant will love the new I5. It wont double the FPS I think ( depending on your resolution ) but there will be a difference since the 460 is more powerfull than your 4850. Ho and, what resolution are you gaming at? If you are over 1080 I would concider getting a second 460 right now when some are cheap for black friday. Even getting a 480 ( the zotac at 350 is hell of a deal ). If you play at 1080/1050/1024 and less a 460 will be plenty enough. I am waiting mine to come in from NCIX ( so fast... )
