Default Help with 3D build

hey guys so i got my parts lined up for a build this xmas.
Then i decided wtf lets do a 3d build. Question is what do i need to change? Need more PSU watts? Need special video card? need monitor and glasses? Thx

needs ALOT more PSU. 850 is bare min. and i mean bare min. if you wanna oc, go even higher

ok thx i guess ill get a 1k psu
but any vid card can do 3d as long as you have the monitor and glasses?

Any compatible Nvidia card, the 470's will handle it no problem. But yeah, a 750 WOULD WORK. although you would be loading it near capacity without any OC's which could shorten it's lifespan.

I would consider changing your psu to modular as well. The new AX series from Corsair comes to mind, the 850. Or get the HX1000 which I owned and never had any issues at all.

The SSD I would use 4 my OS would be the Vertex II. I've had the Kingston. Good unit, only rated 7.4 vs 7.9 on Windows rating. Rather subjective rating system though. 980 only rates 7.7 unless oced to 4.0 or better.

Look at the P6X58D-E motherboard. Great board for the value.

You could get the 930 and save a bit, but I would buy the 950 myself. So far, for me anyway, ocing any i7 has been pretty easy.

Looks like a solid build. be sure to enjoy it and the resulting system. LLOOOVVE the building part myself.

ok thx for the heads up
ill go for the hx1000 seems like a good choice
for the other parts ill keep as is for now but depending wahts on sale for boxing day i may switch it up a bit


also need to buy a 3d screen and glasses.
any suggestions?
i saw asus has a 23inc 3d monitor for 380$~ and the glasses i didnt look up yet

browse the bundles on NCIX. they usually got a 3d bundle kit on the go. ill see if i can find an example

i read some reviews
ppl keep saying 28" would be better
should i wait

or get 3 screen or the panorama...
anyone have a link to a good package for panaroma 3d or 3 screens for 3d or a 28|in 3d screen i didnt find any on newegg
