Default Need some new build advice

I want to build a new gaming rig.. But I was wondering if its worth it to wait for the new tech early next year. I see the new sandy bridge is looking pretty sweet so spending 1500 to 1800 may be a waste but I'm not sure.. Thought I'd ask you guys and see what you thought..

Default Build Advice

If it's a matter of saving money I would wait and see what kind of sales come up for Black Friday (next Friday). Also, you can usually scoop good deals over the holidays and New Years. I saved a significant amount of money on peripherals and other hardware last Boxing Day. I settled for "older" stock but it suited my purposes and I saved a ton of cash.

Good luck with the build!
