Default i3 530 software audio mixer build.

Building a 3U rackmount system to run a live mixing system. It doesn't need any video processing power and it will also be recording the audio to an external hard drive.

The audio software is call Sofware Audio Console

The only PCI card will be an RME HDSP 9652 Audio card that draws almost no power.

Here's the component list I've chosen that I've put into a newegg.ca wishlist

I'm not an audio engineering expert, but I'd suggest another PSU with better ripple control and better reliability. I see green tape in the picture for that Coolermaster so I'd assume it's a mid range CWT, not a bad unit but not the best either and it's $100. You could honestly run that build off a Pico PSU with a little undervolting. So either get a significantly cheaper/lower wattage Seasonic/Antec/Corsair or invest a little more into something like the X-560.
