My System Specs

Default Upgrade to X58

I took the plunge and went for a new build, I take crap pictures but Ill try and get something up here.
The buget is gone so Ill have to go without water cooling for a little while DAZ.
I am going to give Win7 64bit a try on this one and see how it goes.

The Meat and Potatoes :

Cooler Master Haf X case - elbow room
Asus Rampage III Extreme motherboard - bluetooth realtime overclocking and sata 3
Intel i7-980x - just proper
Kingston Hyper-X H2O DDR3-2000 CL9 - ready for water
Sapphire HD 5970 in crossfire - still hoping F@H will come clean on the points system...
Raid 0 on OCZ Vertex 2 Extended Sandforce 120GB SATA2 SSD - OS
Raid 1 on Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA3 - DATA
Raid 0 on Western Digital Velociraptor WD4500HLHX 450GB SATA3-Games and Apps

Smile New Builds

I'm not a fold @ home guy, but shouldn't the green team have been chosen fore folding over ATI? I had 2 5970s in xfire, very nice.

Unless you're doing a lot of benchmarking and ocing to the extreme regularly, the Asus R III formula board is most likely a better choice. Unless you got the extreme for the bluetooth feature.

This thing should kick butt,so good luck with the rest of the build and resulting system!!!
