actually i already watched it... but video is not that what i want to know... i prefer real article...;p

i read some reviews at newegg (just for reference... there is a little problem with a few of drivers)...

i think gigabyte ga x58a ud3r is suitable one... but if i want to use watercooling... is there available south/northbridge block for gigabyte board?

i also research on ram... i think mushkin is the best bet... his rivials is kington hyper x and g.skill black pi for preformance, reliablity and price...

for cpu... 930 vs 950... i can afford 30cdn difference... but i heard that 930 and 950 is same chip but 950 has just higher clock...

for example... Intel i7 930 VS i7 950

too bad, this hc has no database about 930 and 950... i just want to know maximum clock for both cpu... anyway... according to some source... 930 can do 4.0 ghz to 4.2ghz and 950 can do 4.0 to 4.4 ghz... so i think i will grab 950 for some reasons...

i am curious... my d-tek fuzion V2 cpu block could fit it?

sorry for double post... i just have to ask...

i7 920 D0, P6X58-D and EX58-UD4P mobos, 8GB DDR3, Accelero coolers, E4400, LCDs, more has Gigabyte EX58-UD4P for 175... so should i buy it? i try to find the original price and it seems end of line... is it disconnected product? worth to buy it?

As lond as you don't care about the hidious blue and orange colours and you don't really care about sata and USB 3 then it might be worth it.
Personally I would buy a new X58A-UD3R which, from experience, is an excelent board which I have had no difficulties with.

That board has problems. Make sure you're getting the GA-X58A-UD3R (rev 2) if you're going that route. They fixed a problem with the BIOS, and increased the power circuit from 8-phase to 12-phase. More stable power = more stability in overclocking.

alright... just curious...

should i go with x58a ud9 + 930 for 700cdn save about 300cdn? (sale price is 514 from bestdirect.ca + 280 from ncix = 794cdn... or all parts at ncix sale would be 880cdn so about 180cdn different)

NCIX.com - Buy NCIX Overclocking Bundle Deal Intel Core i7 930 & Gigabyte X58A-UD9 Quad SLI Gaming DDR3 Motherboard - 930 & X58A-UD9 In Canada.

compare to x58a ud3r + 950 for 521... hmmm about 179cdn difference...

BUT... x58a ud9 requires 2x 8 pin EPS/ATX power cables (hx 1000 can support?) and XL-ATX (only $165 coolermaster haf x, hiper osiris aluminum case and cosmso s can support)...

If you need 24GB RAM in speeds in excess of 2100MHz, and to install 8 SATA 2 drives, 2 SATA 3 drives and two eSATA models with RAID support on all, and dual GB LAN ports, and the ability to use 4-way SLI, with all cards running 16x speed, then you have no other choice but to buy it.

whoa... sorta overkill...

i just ask for some opinion... about combo especially 930... maybe i can get 950 and sell 930 from combo... ;p

i mean x58a-ud9 is much better overclock than ud3r... see

Quote:
Pros
AMAZING OVERCLOCKING MOBO, well the best there is

Cons
none....well price

Summary
This thing overclocks like crazy. Lower voltages and a higher bclk than my UD3R. I switched from UD3R to UD9 and was able to lower voltages by .05v and bclk? hell I was able to boot to windows at 240bclk with ease. Running a 980x so no need for a high bclk, but still wanted to test it out. This is a MASSIVE mobo, make sure it can fit in your case, probably not, as it is huge. It is so good you cannot even compare it with other X58's mobos's. Amazing.
Product review of Gigabyte X58A-UD9 XL-ATX LGA1366 X58 DDR3 7PCIE SATA6GB USB3.0 2GLAN 4WAY CrossFireX SLI Motherboard

so i guess its the king of all mobo... except i7 930...

of course, i dont know if there is available some watercooling block for this mobo...
