2 questions though: 1) what resolution do you game at (if you are gaming at HD or lower res I would then recommend the 768mb version)?? 2) what PSU do you have (or what watt dell PSU is it, if it is a factory PSU)?
My monitor is native at 1680x1250, but since one of my 8800's died I have been gaming at 1280x800 most of the time. And it's a 1000 watt PSU.

Sadly the money I thought I would be getting feel through when bills popped up out of no where, so now I only have $120 ish to buy a card instead of the $220 I was expecting. So unless I can find another $100 some time soon I'm going to have to put buying a new card on hold. I could buy a 450 or 250 if I wait for a sale, but I would rather stick with what I have until I can afford the 460.

It's been about four to five years since I got them, and Dell and I are not on speaking terms. I have no proof of purchase so I couldn't send them to the manufactures.
