Dan, you just tell what I am talking about...RIGHT NOW...He can always add a second video card when it will be needed, but is it worth to change the CPU in 1 years or 2 because it's not enough? Since we know that AM3 and 1156 are on their last miles...So changing CPU in over 12 month could mean changing the mobo to.

Smile New Builds

I would look at the 630 Propus quad for the small price increase. There are the 635 and 640 as well. Quad is pretty much standard these days.

Take a look at the Asus boards. I haven't used an MSI board, though every one I've read about has had issues of some kind. Stay with tried and true mobos.

I would switch my gpus for EVGA for the lifetime warranty. Great rep and service for any issues.

As for HDD, look at the 1tb Black from WD or the Samsung spinpoint. Better drives for general purposes, though there is nothing wrong with the one you've chosen. Also consider getting another smaller drive for your OS or partition your drive as it's more efficient to have a smaller drive for that purpose.

Consider the HAF X due to usb3 ports and sata3 hot swap bays.

Last but not least, consider getting the HX psu as modular are much better for cable management and cleaner looks. It can help air flow as well, though that case is good for air movement.

It looks like you've done a bit of research for this build. Good luck with it and enjoy the new system.

Edit:I agree with the others though, so my recommendations are if you decide to stay with AMD. If your budget allows, then definitely go higher end cpu. 965, 1055T I like the idea of the Intel setup they recommend, so take a serious look at that config.

Hm true, Caviar green are slower disk, not made to put a OS on it. Caviar black and Samsung spinpoint F3 are good choice, you can also get the caviar blu wich is cheaper and like, the same speed of a caviar black XD I have both here and the difference between both for the money is DEAD little.

Lol as i posted befor, i forgot to update the harddrive, i was told previously to get the black, and for the video card, it seems like the gigabyte version is most favored among the community, it has been nothing but good reviews

Also, http://ncix.com/products/?sku=44783&...SI%2FMicroStar VS http://ncix.com/products/?sku=53567&...nufacture=ASUS ....any real diff?
