You didn't link a specific case, but I wouldn't recommend anything from Antec's current lineup since there are some pretty big design issues with their cases. NCIX does sell the Centurion 590, so all you have to do is buy it from there and have them match Newegg's price. I would honestly recommend going with the HAF 922 instead if you don't mind the aesthetics, although no matter what you do, you should take advantage of NCIX's pricematching policy to get the best prices on all your hardware.

If you can swing the HAF922 without incurring terrible shipping fees, I'd go for it. The exterior looks aren't the most attractive out there, but you get a really well built case and great cooling. When you put together your system, you'll appreciate the conveniences and interior design.

well, 'regular' drives would be wd black vs samsungs f3 i guess. either or will be ok.

ram, everyone and their sister here will tell you to get gskill, just dont spend too much it wont show that you spent 100 more on your set unless you go for world records and such.

if you need a blue ray writer? cant help you much there, although tell you i had a good run with the lg units.

there is a board that tests drives, got it bookmarked somewhere. cd something. they're pretty good. not sure if you will see a difference between their 1st ranked and third, though.

sorry for the late reply.. school's been quite busy lately...

so far i got the bundle (i5 and the mobo), the gtx460 700mb edition and HAF922. So I just need a writer, hdd and ram now for a (hardware-wise) complete system? (i was look at cpu coolers - necessary?)

btw. is http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...r&promoid=1223 a better deal or should i just get the 1G version?
i got the eVGA Video Card 768-P3-1360-TR NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 DDR5 768MB PCI-Express 2.0 Mini-HDMI/Dual DVI-I for $180 but the MSI one is only $160 AR.
(from weekly ncix sale - NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Great Technology, Service and Selection.)

dude grab whatevers on sale. general consensus here is gskill for the win, screw ocz(although i dont remember why)
