Thanks guys, I've been pondering this for awhile, but Shopbot (n Kruzin's Blackwidow) got me "hard",,,,,,,

Obviously 6 Cores is crazy, but its my 1st Extreme CPU so looking forward to playtime!

Gotta send the wife an email and let her know Purolator will be by with more parts....(just a couple of Fans is all)

I'll Post up some pics when I get home and start tearing apart, also found out over at Evga forum folks are simply updating the Classy Bios and Chipset Drivers..thats it...no reinstall of OS.(wasnt sure)

Well.......if I win the 649 (in a big way), you guys have my absolute word I'll purchase all "deserving" Members here a 980X...hows that sound.....yeah even you Zero ;)

On a serious note, around Sept 17th or so, check BST for:

Corsair HX 1 kW
I7 920 C1

cross me fingers fer ya bro,on the 649, but if you do win, i hope you get a decently sized island with a temperate to warm climate, then worry about us fools and our toys :)

curious though on how much you'll clock it, under water and all your safety measures on full bore...:)

On Air I'll be happy with 4 - 4.2 stable with Temps maxed out at around 82 - 85C Prime. When I disassemble I'll clean my TRUE thoroughly and be very careful applying TIM...think I still have a tube of that Diamond stuff they were giving away here on HWC awhile back.

On Water I'll be hoping for 4.6 (but the Water Cooling is a ways away yet). Every Review I've read really touts this Chip...yeah its expensive, but hell, you only live once ;)
