Gaming at High to Max Settings (SC2, WoW, and future releases like Diablo 3, Deus Ex 3, etc.)
2. What YOUR budget is.
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
Canada (Edmonton Area) NCIX and Memory Express possibly.
4. IF YOU have a brand preference.
Intel, nVidia
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Using all new parts.
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes, I've been researching for the past 3 months.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Stock to start off with. (Never overclocked before)
8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Preferably within the next week.
9. What resolution do you use?

Here's my build list so far(sorry don't have time to link URLs right now):

Coolermaster CM690 II Advanced RC-692-KKN2

ASUS P6x58D-E Motherboard P6X58D-E

Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz CPU BX80601950

Noctua NH-U12P SE2 CPU Heatsink NH-U12P SE2 (PM'd to $57)

Corsair XMS3 6GB RAM TR3X6G1333C9

eVGA Nvidia GTX 470 Superclocked+ 012-P3-1475-AR

Corsair HX750W PSU (semi modular) CMPSU-750HX

Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB HDD WD6401AALS (x2)

Samsung SH-S243D DVD Writer SATA OEM SH-S243D/BEBE

ASUS 24" LCD 1080p VW246H

Windows 7 64bit DVD OEM GFC-00599

Microsoft Sidewinder X4 Keyboard JQD-00003

Logitech MX518 Gaming Mouse 931352-0215

I'm not going with an SSD at this time, probably just dual HDD non-RAID for now. I'll be price matching of course. I PM'd this list yesterday to around $1940 before shipping and GST.

Ordering from NCIX and/or Memory Express.

Any changes I should make? I've never built a system before.

I work weird hours so I'll take awhile to respond to this thread.

My System Specs

Instead of a 950 get a 930 and overclock it!
NCIX.com - Buy Intel Core i7 930 Quad Core Processor LGA1366 2.8GHZ 8MB L3 Cache 130W 45NM Retail Box - BX80601930 In Canada.
You have a good cooler picked out but if you can make it fit, put on this cooler:
NCIX.com - Buy Noctua NH-D14 LGA775/1156/1366/AM3 I7/I5/PHENOM Heatpipe Cooler W/ NF-P14 140MM & NF-P12 120MM Fan - NH-D14 In Canada.
MemX does have a pretty good deal on the 950:
Intel Core

Also you should get DDR3-1600 ram, my favorite is:
NCIX.com - Buy Mushkin Enhanced Redline Frostbyte 6GB 3X2GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 CL6-8-6-24 Triple Channel Memory - 998805 In Canada.
MemX might have some of this but you have to call and see, I have had good luck with it:
Mushkin HP3-12800 High Performance DDR3 SDRAM, 6GB Triple Channel Kit (3 x 2GB) at Memory Express Computers
Good price here:
Mushkin XP3-12800 Blackline DDR3 SDRAM, 6GB Triple Channel Kit (3 x 2GB) at Memory Express Computers
and here: (different voltage)
Mushkin XP3-12800 Blackline DDR3 SDRAM, 6GB Triple Channel Kit (3 x 2GB) at Memory Express Computers
there are others from Gskill etc that are good also
Make sure you price match

The rest looks good.

My System Specs

Wrong RAM, you chose 1333Mhz ram, you should get base 1600.

This is what you're looking for:
Corsair XMS3 CMX6GX3M3A1600C9 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Core i7 Memory Kit

I'd probably go with one 1TB WD Black HDD, but to each his own.
Everything else looks solid. Couldn't have picked any better myself - looks like you did some homework. :)

Good luck with the build.

I'll learn to manage my anger, when people learn to manage their stupid.
