Don't bother with a i7 940. It is old stock and rumours are that the 950 which is the replacement to the 940 is suppose to be getting a price drop sometime in the future. You want to go with either a 930 or a 950.

+1, the i7 940's are also C0/C1 only steppings, which are generally very voltage hungry.
+1 for the triple channel memory as well.

Yeah, the price difference between the 930 and 940 isn't worth it IMHO.
You also didn't read the part about the ram I mentioned in my post.. 6 gig kit, not dual channel 4 gig. I don't know if you already bought it or not.. but any salesperson should have mentioned that when you were buying.

I don't know why you bought a dvd burner, when you bought a blu-ray burner.. ?
And the entire buying windows ultimate, but to each his own. Most people can't even tell you the difference between home x64 and ultimate x64 - other than the cost and name. :)

Fixt,

i mis-spoke i actually bought the 930 however i did screw up the ram.
I called new egg and caught it before they shipped so they canceled the first order which was the duel channel g skill, corsair h50 and vertex 2. then immediately re ordered the triple channel g skill i went ahead and bought 2 6 gig kits and for 12 total and upgraded to the h70 water cooling kit along with the vertex 2 120. Just got the tracking # should be here Saturday or Monday cannot wait to finish the build.
