That would be an ideal case if you don't like flashy LED's and all that junk.

GPU: All what PhysX will do for you, is make things like shooting down a tree more realistic, or blowing up a crate and having all the particles fly all over the place in a more realistic manner. Little things like.
I am a huge fan of the Mafia 2 Demo, and I have tried it wish PhysX on my gtx 460, and without, and TBH there isn't TOO much of a difference. Either way Mafia 2 will you blow you away PhysX or no PhysX.

Lol, nah I'd save it for mafia 2 and NHL 11 (Ok I know it won't be enough but you get it!

So if as you said PhysX isn't that much of a big deal, considering 5970 starts at 699$ and that 2 x 460 1gb is about 500$ that 200$ is quite important so my question is are the performance between these 2 (actually 3 lol) really that big and worth it ?

Again thanks alot I really appreciate it.

With that kind of budget I'd go for a PSU like the Seasonic X-750. The M12D is far from a bad PSU, but unless you're getting it on sale at ~$100, I'd rather shell out ~$150 for the X-750, which is arguably the best 750W PSU on the market.

The case is a matter of personal preference, but once you've had a good quality Lian-Li, ATCS840, or maybe even a Windy, nothing else will impress you in terms of build quality. They aren't even about flash, it's just cases that scream pure quality.

As for the GPU, I'd go with at least a GTX470/5850. The last thing you want is to be disappointed by high res performance from a GTX460. They're really good cards, but at that kind of budget there's no point in cheaping out on the most important part of your gaming experience.

As for an HDD, a WD Caviar Black should do nicely, or the Samsung F3, Hitachi Deskstars are pretty nice too. I wouldn't recommend an SSD unless you want to be on the bleeding edge, they're really fast though.

Ilya : Just to make sure, I want two (2) 460 or that 465 on Ncix and isn't it better then one 470 / 5850 ?

Alright for the WD Caviar, will check em out. The SSD would be for the OS unless you guys don't think it's worth it.

Right now, the 5970 is the FASTEST card in the market (not including the ARES which isn't being sold in stores). The difference between 2 460s and the 5970 would be that big, but you should consider the headaches that you can go through went SLI-ing. If it were me I would go for the best ONE card I can afford at this time, and if I really need more performance in the future, SLI or Crossfire it. So if you don't care about PhysX, go for the 5970.

PS: the 5970 is also more high res friendly.
