Dell U 2410 and CF

Does anyone know what kind of connection(s) you would need if you Crossfired Sapphire 5870s using a Dell U2410 Monitor? Obviously, you can drive the monitor with one card, but what if you were going to CF? Would the monitor then need two inputs?

You still output to the monitor with one connection.

There is a bridge between the cards so that they can communicate, then only one of the cards outputs a signal to the monitor.

By the way, Crossfire/SLI is quite a waste at only 1920x1200, at least for high-end cards like the HD 5870. All in my opinion, of course.
