I personally have the X58-UD3R and would recommend it. As for the PSU, 850 is a bit of overkill. Something like a 750 or 650W good brand would suffice. Although, if the price is about the same for something in the 650-750W range, the Antec TPQ 850 works very well for me, handles my i7 rig, and two 4870x2's at one point.

I agree with _dangtx_ for the psu, the Corsair if you can get it. I own the Asus P6X58D-E and love it. Easy to use and overclocking is very easy. The 1st 2 gpu slots work as 16 lanes each with usb3 and sata 6gb/sec. Great choice for gpus!
Enjoy the build and resulting system. Oh, and hello from Canada!!!

I would stay away from those PSU's. Is there anything else you can get besides those units?

Keep in mind I am a rookie lol, but just wondering if maybe having a good Power supply with lots of head room would be good for him if he is planning on keeping this rig for as long as possible that way if he needs or wants to upgrade his GPU or add a new one he can without having to buy a new PSU as well?

Just a thought..

I see that no one mention anything about the mem. Many of us here prefer G.skill, Corsair, Mushkin and Patriot over OCZ. Personnally I can't even recomend OCZ.

Agreed mm 88. My preference is Mushkin, however any of those will do just fine and have lifetime warranty.

They all use the same chips. The fact is that unless you're a crazy extreme overclocker who's trying to reduce his SuperPI times by 0.001 seconds, it doesn't make a difference which brand of memory you choose. The only brand I would avoid based on reliability is Crucial.
