Bud you could get away with a 850W PS. Silverstone or Corsair. Save you a bit $$$$.

Your first option is pretty nice. I would go for it and change nothing but you could downgrade to a 850W seasonic, silverstone or corsair like Dan mention.

I knew people would tell me to down grade the PSU, I also know the Haf X is not for everyone but the 460's I picked dump inside the case so I wanted a case with heavy air flow (would of loved to get a 800D but no go with air) Other question is the Ram I picked ok? and should I go 12GB or is 6GB good for gaming? Second I am not a big Overclocker but I have read that the i7 920 D0 OCs better then the 930, but on other sites they say the 930 can OC better then the 920 D0? Should I just go with the newer chip or the cheaper chip? Thank you for the feed back.

If you're not a "big" overclocker then 930 for sure. 6gb is plenty. And like I said earlier that PS is overkill.

Overkill A PSU is never a bad thing, only give you more headroom for upgrade. The Haf X si also a good case, a really good one. If you like the look get it! And the ram, look how much of us use G.skill, she is perfect:)

I would recommend going with a HX750/850 or the newer AX750/850 from Corsair, the HX is cheaper than the AX but the AX is a Gold rated unit.

I'm biased towards samsung monitors so I say go for the 2494HM or even check out the BX2440X.

Everything else looks great, good luck with your build and enjoy the new machine

Smile New Builds

Good selection of components! I would go with the Corsair psu, or the Silverstone. The HAF X is a good case, especially for air cooling. Consider the 460 from EVGA. They have a number of models in the superclocked category. Look for the models with the lifetime warranty.
The 930 is a good overclocker, and would be a great choice. As for the motherboard, my new board is the Asus P6X58D-E. This board is a great overclocker and easy to use. There is a premium model available as well.
G Skills are pretty popular on this site and are well priced. Any memory with lifetime warranty such as Mushkin,Patriot,Corsair, and G Skills. My preference is Mushkin, but your choice is fine.
A great choice for a first time builder and good luck the build and resulting system! You may find yourself taking things out and back in a couple of times, but don't get discouraged. I've only built about a dozen and still find myself doing it.

It seems like all the 460 1024mb cards are out of stock right now. Are the EVGA 460 better then the MSI cards? or just a better warranty? They cost $20 more then the 460 cyclones but can be PM to the same price. I would think the MSI cards would cool better with less noise.
