Default Opinions On Upcoming Build

Hello all, I will be doing an upcoming build and have basically chosen all the parts and done my research. Before ordering the parts I would like a few last minute opinions on the parts. Here are the main parts:

Motherboard: Evga X58 SLI E-758 A1
Processor: Intel Core I7 930
RAM: G Skill F3-12800 CL9T 6GB 1600 CL 9-9-9-24
GPU: XFX HD 5870 or EVGA GTX 480
Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus

Thanks on any opinions!

Out of curiosity, what PSU are you going to be powering that with?

Hi thanks for the suggestion. I will be using an XFX 850 watt PSU. So you think I would be better off with two GTX 460s rather than the 5870 or 480? Will my PSU be able to handle it? I will be using the system for gaming.

Default Sound Card Question

I will be using an Auzentech Forte connected to a receiver via an Optical Cable for 5.1 surround. The receiver is getting old now I bought it in about 2003 so it does not support the most up to date technologies. Will I still be able to hear 5.1 sound from it during gameplay or will I need to upgrade the receiver. It does of course support Dolby Digital and DTS. Any answers would be helpful.

It'll be fine.

Dolby Digital and DTS haven't changed a whole lot.

Or for the extra money would a 5850 Crossfire be best? Would the PSU power this?

Default Best GPU For Me

I was originaly going to get the XFX HD 5870, but now with the release of the GTX 460 from Nvidia I am stuck. Would it be better to go with SLI GTX 460 768MB or Crossfire 5850s? Please be honest no fanboy comments. Thanks for any suggestions!
