Default NewEgg, Shell shocker builds

I decided to build 2 cheap rigs off of newegg shell shocker deals. Purpose unknown.

I have already got 2 cases for $20 each.

This afternoon the msi 790x-g45 will be on sale for $65.

Newegg.com - MSI 790X-G45 AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard

It is AM3 crossfire ddr3-1600.

The thing I am not so crazy about it only has 2 16x slots, and the second may be only 8x speed.

I guess since the build is cheap and shell shocker, it fits into the build specs.

How do you know that's the next shell shocker up on the block? Looks like the next one is due up at 1PM PDT.

Might be worth a look though.... I'm looking for a cheap ddr3 AMD motherboard.

They have a mailing list, I get emails everyday with the shell shockers, and other promos.

If I turn them into folding rigs, I guess that mobo isn't ideal.

I get some of those emails as well, but until such time as I see it on the .ca website, I normally assume it's a .com deal.... :)

The Shellshockers are usually the same for both, aside from the price.
