You could also look at PNY GTX480 and Gskill ram for their lifetime warranties. As for the case, you could use a coolermaster CM-690. It has decent cable management and has good airflow for under $100.

I've been looking a little bit deeper into video cards and found an EVGA GTX460 superclocked and the GTX465 also by EVGA are the same price. Is one better than the other? they are both 262.99 at newegg

The only reason I dont like the MSI cyclone is becuase the cooling on the card doesn't blow exaust air out of the case. I will only have one in for now but if I get a second card in a few months than that will be quite a bit of warm air to blow out via case fans. 750W are more then enough for two GTX 460 in SLI. You'll have plenty of headroom left. You'll only need 1000w+ PSU's if your going for a GTX 480 SLI configuration.

As for the Mushkins, you are right. My mistake looked at another kit that was CAS 9. I still have a preference for G. SKILL, just because I always use them (on more then 30 builds) and never had any problems with the PI series. I guess Mushkin will be just as good, just haven't used them yet...

I did recommend G.Skill PI series. Just mentioned the Crucial Kit because it's a very flexible and compatible kit, and the price difference is abysmal...

If the build should start going over budget I think They are a good option (even if temporary). They won't compromise the build in any way. As for reliability issues, I never had problems with them - of course I don't OC them their extreme. It's just a kit I use when assembling for somebody else that has budget issues...

OK so 3 days later and my order still wont go through...I've checked my billing address twice and they still say it doesn't match my credit (which it does...) so I'm going to order from somewhere else. It took them 3 days to tell me the second time that they couldn't process my order yet my credit card shows I've been charged for the amount of the build.....****ing newegg....
