Default i7 Build in progress

Just ordered the GA-X58-UD4P yesterday, but a lot of these parts i havent ordered yet, still need the cpu, ram and second/third 4850, probably going to need to upgrade psu before i go tri crossfire though.

Also might go with the h50 for my hsf to make some room in the case and clean things up a bit, even though i think the Ven-x performs better, i can give up a few as long as its not cooking at 4.0 :)

Ordered the CPU today, recived the Ram this morning, just looking for a second 4850 now.. Will post picks when some more stuff gets here :D

My System Specs

Default

If you are looking to OC take a look at these.
NCIX.com - Buy G.SKILL F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD Trident PC3-16000 6GB 3X2GB DDR3-2000 CL9-9-9-24 Core i7 Memory Kit - F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD In Canada.

For less extreme setup take these

NCIX.com - Buy G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit - F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ In Canada.

For many member here G.skill is the way to go since they have good price, OC well and are reliable.

Ok, so i ended up just ordering a 930 from NCIX while they were on sale for $294.99.. Not a very good deal, but i was getting impatient, i also picked up a 4870 from someone on this forum

I was planning on getting a few of these extentions: BRAID MODDED CABLES : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce instead of sleeving my psu and voiding the warrenty (which i will probably need since its an Ultra) but i just noticed that the 4870 needs 2 6pin's, and the 4850 needs 1 (psu only has 2), so would it be safe to go modular>modular to 6 pin adapter >6 pin extention? Or is there something else i could do? Any advice would be appreciated.

If it comes down to it, ill just buy a new PSU, but would rather not because i'm kinda strapped for cash atm.

(Cable management isn't the way i like it yet, but I'll fix it up once the card arrives)

Sorry about quality, took them with the phone.
Cameras on the fritz! Will get some better pics once my card gets here :)

Thanks :)

Good plan I was also thinking, once the new intel socket is released, the i7 980's will probably plummet as well
