Default Critique my build! ...and some questions

Hello guys!

I am currently in the process of canvassing for an i5 build that is sub 1100$. I want to ask your opinion about this build and your suggestions too! Also I have some questions after the list. Here is the spec:
CPU: Intel i5 750 2.66Ghz
Mobo: Asus Maximus Gene III
RAM: G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL Ripjaws
PSU: Corsair HX650W
HDD: 640Gb Western Digital Black
VidCard: Evga GTX 460
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-CP12 / Corsair H50?
Case: Lian Li PC-V351B

My question is about the Corsair H50 and the Lian Li PC-V351B. Is there anyway that I could fit the H50 in the case without any hard modding(permanent case modding)? I tried searching it but most I find is modded(they drilled a hole farther back to accommodate the H50's rad). Also, will the H50 be sufficient in cooling the CPU? I think I will OC it to 3.2-3.4Ghz.

Thanks,
CORE

The H-50 will do a good job. As far as modding the case, if you can find a way to get 120mm fan holes somewhere you should be good.

I also recommend you get the EVGA GTX 460 EE.

what are you going to do with the pc. you might be spending too much on cpu+mobo side of things :)

You could get an AMD build (NCIX.com - Buy MSI 890GXM-G65 mATX AM3 890GX+SB850 DDR3 2PCI-E16 1PCI-E 1PCI SATA Audio Video GBLAN Motherboard - 890GXM-G65 In Canada.) + AMD 1055T and OC the hell out of it, plus i would be cooler to run too :)

@ jcmaz

Sorry but was never a fan of amd since my birth ( i don't have a grudge against them) I'm just an intel fan-boy.

@_dangtx_

I'll be photoshopping, vid editing, cad or maya, and gaming! haha

The only problem I have with that build is where to locate the H50 Rad if ever I went with that after market cooling solution.

Thanks,
Core

Maybe you could check in with lowfat and his current build, IIRC he is looking at doing the same thing with the V352B case, maybe he can shed some light on the subject.

I don't see how an H50 couldn't fit w/ ease. Screw fan to one of the 120mm fan mounts. Then screw the H50 on to it.

Drop the H50 for a good air coller and change the Maximus for other board. 230 for a Matx board is useless and to much. You can get a P7P55-M for much cheaper. EVGA, Gigabytes and even Asus have cheaper board that can do the same.
