New Build

So my brothers computer is finally starting to die so being the super nice person that i am he is getting a new new one. Here are the specs i can't wait to start building it.

I am in the process of putting together a computer. What do u think of the 40GB intel ssd?

well, if you work out another mobo and cpu he can get a 5850/5870 in there :)


edit : and maybe ,ake it a 922 or the new sylverstone, dirt cheap.

For the amt you spend on the 2 tb drives why not get 2 1-1/2 tb drives.That plus the other savings mentioned and you could definitely get a much better gpu as a previous member mentioned. jmho

I could but he is going to be editing HD video so i opted for the more powerful cpu and more reliable motherboard. Also i already own the 5770 i had originally bought for CF and WC but found you can't get full coverage WB for the XFX 5770's.

I got the 2TB at a good price around 109+tax after i price matched them. I ended up saving around $300 in price matching. Also considering his current video card was my old x1900xt i think the 5770 will be a nice boost.
