Mobo & Ram Advice

G'day lads,
Im new here to the forums, but I've been enjoying your hardware reviews for quite some time! Anyways, the reason im here is to get some Mobo advice on a Gaming build i want to do by end of our short canadian summer, lol.

im new to ddr3 but not retard. I need a mobo! i guess ill definatly go for an X58 chipset, but with all the buzz goin round the net about locking XMP, you could say im lost in a sea of motherboards! here's a few that have caught my interest lemme know what you think OR recommend:

Before you say it I know that a few of my choice are p55 chipsets.

then you need an 1156 mobo. which one? well, whats your budget like, what do you need,etc.

Intel E8500 3.46GHZ
4GB Dual channel OCZ Reaper Edition
ATI Radeon 4870 x2
320 gb Veloc raptor 14000
500 GB Black Caviar 7200
1T Black Caviar 7200
coolermaster comos 1000 case

I dont have the cpu yet "D", Im not 100% sure if that ver. of the i7 that i want. hahaha, I really like how the multiplier is already unlocked. I did however get cooling stuff in prep. new res, new rad. tubes, etc.......

Ive put some more thought into it, I Definatly would like to go with a 1366! I love overclocking!
Anothe board that caught my eye, was the Rampage III........

I've seen remotes were the K series Intels didn't overclock very well, making the unlocked multi pretty much pointless and they seem to cost a bit more

No shit eh? Teah, unlocking the multi is quite pointless.! The only good cpu ive found for OC so far is what i have now. My trusty E8500. you can beat the hell outa the Vcore, and it always comes for more.

anyone think/know if the P6TD deluxe is any good or has ASUS just thrown out another dud for the public

Ok lads, so I got the processor i wanted: i7 980X Extreme Edition Processor - 3.33GHz, LGA 1366, 6.4GT/s QPI, 12MB L3 Cache, Six Core, HyperThreading, Gulftown,
So ive been reading up on which board can offer me thebest of all worlds, but whenever i find a board thats great for DDR3, the board loses on everything else.
So if you guys could offer up any advice that'd be much appreciated!
