Blow up a barrel with a nvidia card and fps drops a bit, no noticeable change. I would highly suggest anything other than ati for gaming... get a used 8800gt or 9800gt for $50-$70, it will be able to play crysis.
Can you quit flaming all over the place? You're going to burn this place down.

Hey so i have decided to go with a 4670 as it seems to be good for my needs.
Can i use the gddr3 card with my mobo?

Which should i buy?

Newegg.ca - SAPPHIRE 100295HDMI Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

or

Newegg.ca - BIOSTAR VA4673NH51-B Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

or

Newegg.ca - XFX HD-467X-ZDF2 Radeon HD 4670 1GB 128-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card

Go with sapphire (NOT XFX). Biostar may be fine, but I have no experience with it. I have installed this sapphire hd 4670 in a friends computer and it works exactly as advertised. XFX is a great company, but this is a ddr2 version of the card which is much slower than the ddr3 versions.

Hmm....XFX is the best brand out of those but the DDR2 instead of DDR3 is a major downer.

Hate to say it but the Sapphire looks to be the best out of those three.

Dont understand the hate for the GSO, it's about the same as a 4670 and can be had for cheaper. It's also almost on par with the 9600gt when overclocked.

However in this case, I say find an 8800GT. They can be had relatively cheap used and offer better perfromance than all the cards you listed.

(You also mentioned a GT 240 is almost the same as 9600GT performance and would not be my top choice.)

The 9600GSO (96SP) is pretty good in shader intensive games ie: GRID but struggle in memory intensive games IE: COD4 when compared to the 9600GT
