Need build advice asap for fast internet <1000
I need some help fairly fast. My PC died a month back and now my laptop has a virus so i'm in need of a reliable fast pc for mainly internet downloading and speed for daily tasks. I don't really game any more so i was thinking of going with a good motherboard with good online video and sound. I basically want best bang for the buck, but i want fast because i don't want to upgrade for another 4 or so years. I need windows 7. I guess i should follow the site format for builds.
I'll be buying in Canada, i'm in BC, newegg.ca is fine or ncix
Used for mainly internet and downloading, music,
I will overclock it a little also.
I was thinking of throwing the operating system on a ssd 64g drive and then using my existing seagate baracuda 160g for now for backup.
I basically need a complete build, but in a pinch i could reuse my coolermaster praetorian case.
If i can get a good combo deal on a monitor, 23" or so around $200 but combined shipping i'd do that too. So all said if i could keep it below $1200 i would be happy, but $1000 would be better.
If someone could offer up suggestions for a complete build that is fast. Sorry if this seems jumbled. I had to borrow my parents computer to post this. Thanks
