CPU lapping

First off the cooler master hyper 212 plus is the best air cooler i have ever had this thing cools like a block of ice. I highly recommend it. I lapped the CPU and the Heat-sink starting with 400 grit and working up to 1500 grit... lapping reduced my idle temps by 5 degrees and load temps by 10+ degrees.

Temp Results

Stock Clock
Idle 25 Degrees
Load 31 Degrees

3.85 Ghz

Idle 28 Degrees
Load 35 Degrees

I like the look of that case. Is the h-drive cage remoovable without grinding rivets out?
Good Showing!!

Pretty sure you can remove the cage, I see a thumb screw at the bottom of it.

Unlock that to quad! You can still keep your overclock. You'll need almost 1.5 volt to do it though
