NCIX.com - Buy AMD Athlon II X2 250 Dual Core Processor Socket AM3 3.0GHZ 2MB Cache 60W Retail Box - ADX250OCGQBOX In Canada.

looks like the 240 is not in stock. hell you can go with a cheaper board that doesnt crossfire but for 10 bucks, another pci-e slot is welcome

Thanks a ton, guys! I went with the 250 though I'm not using the mobo dangtx recommended because it's showing up in my cart as special order. Pricematched, this MSI mobo is about the same price, looks good to me, and has positive reviews.

The MSI mobo you linked isn't really futureproof in the sense that the supported ram speed are extremely low.

HEHE, i looked at that specific MSI mobo you were talking about. From the title, it looks great, but the product is meh...

I second the Gigabyte board.

Only thing I would change is the amd to a intel i3 or i5. Stick with the gt240 by the way, it's very good. Intel is just much more snappier than amd in general. Intel chipsets are also of much higher quality.
