My System Specs

Default ASUS or EVGA

ASUS III 1366 board look promising but there is alot less support no forum and customer support is lacking

USB 3 and Stata 3 in its favor

Check out the Asus P6X58D premium and P6X58D-E. There are some good reviews and it has sata 3 and usb 3 next gen. Memory is a matter of preference over price. A lot of people like G Skill, which are reasonably priced. I've used Corsair, Patriot and Mushkin. My preference is Mushkin, but any of the good name brands will perform well. Look for life time warranty. It generally tells you that they back the product because they believe in it. Talk with others to find out how the RMA is. I understand Corsair is good, and Mushkin as well. Good luck with your decision and please let us know. Oh yeah, and enjoy the build!!!

I ended up buying the P6X58D-E. I didn't need the extra RJ 45 port and the software on the E is better for less. I don't worry about price, but a few bucks saved on one thing allows me to move up in price on some other piece of hardware. Talk to anyone who's knowledgeable with computer components, and maybe you'll find the memory you like, but I haven't met anyone who has a dislike for Mushkin.
