New gaming rig = <$1400 after tax

Hey guys, new to picking parts for a good rig, but I do have a but I do know I have a budget of 1400 after tax.

I need a Monitor in that 1400 as well. I play games like CoD:MW2, Starcraft 2, Heros of Newerth, and also would like to be able to run a couple games in the future a well!

i7 860
good cooler, CM hyper 212+, OCZ Vendetta 2, Corsair H50 etc
good p55 board, Asus/Gigabyte/Evga(if you like all black boards)
4GB DDR3 1600mhz low latency memory (preferably corsair or ocz) make sure its 1.5v you can always just search i7 memory.
WD 2TB black or decent SSD for OS and games, and HDD size of your choosing to accompany SSD.
ATI 5850 or 5870
corsair PSU, maybe 750watt modular one. i think its 80 plus silver certified.
get a good airflow case. Silverstone Raven, CM HAF, Antec 1200, CM Storm Sniper, etc
and for a monitor get the Samsung 2343bwx, its cheap and awesome. 23" 2048x1152 resolution! cant go wrong. And to be honest most monitors you get in the 200-300$ category are going to be TN panels. so unless you really want to spend alot for IPS get this one :D
i probably forgot something but that should be a very nice build.

start with a 5870, drop down a nice amd dual or quad if you wish in a cool giga board, ddr2/3 whtever you find cheaper, good corsair psu(600 watter for one gpu, 750-850 if you plan on adding a second one)..

how is this build? The 2343BWX monitor that was suggested I cannot find at NCIX, weird . Would this build be the best(longest lasting) I can do with 1400 after tax (basically 1300 before tax is calculated on) ?

I would pick a different PSU, maybe a Corsair or Silverstone Strider. other than that looks good.

I'd say save $100 on the mobo and go with something cheaper and get a 5870 instead of a 5850. Unless you're a heavy overclocker or are picky about looks, I think this board will be overkill. JMO
