I would go for the second one. Not But, ditch the 790 for a 785 DDR3. It will be fine fine fine and will save you some money. For the rest, it's nice. Haf 922 is a awesome case!

im leaning towards the secon one too wouldnt a 5850 videocard be an overkill if im just playing sc2. wouldnt the 5770 allow me to enjoy it at highest settings?

thanks martin ill change the mobo.. can your recommend the right ram to go with it

I like my Gigabyte 785GT UD3H. It has 2 PCI E lanes for Crossfire (although the second lane is a 4X)

I'd go for the first build. However switch the Antec 200 and PSU to an Antec Sonata III or Cooler Master RC690 + Corsair PSU. Maybe ditch the Phenom II X4 as well as and get a Phenom II X2 and test your luck with unlocking the cores. If you don't wish to do that, then stick with the X4.

Bewawa has Windows 7 Home Premium for $60. Still would go for the WD 640GB Black from Bewawa. Other than that, looks good.
