Default XFX 5770 or any suggestions?

I'm thinking to get the XFX XXX edition 5770 card for $170
But Google review sounds like 260 and 4870 is better.
My buget is around 150 to 170max
Play Guild War most with
i5 750
4GB RAM
Win 7 64bit
XFX 650W
640 WD HDD
22' Samsung

Many thanks in advance

I dunno, I don't think either of those are better than the 5770 and I'm not an ATI fan.

For the game and system you could get away with either of those three cards. But I'd just get the 5770.

The 260, 4870 are not better; 5770 is quite close in performance. You can review some perfromance charts here and look at some 5770 reviews with comparable benchmarks.
The advantages with the the newer 5770 are DX11, it draws less power, and the price.
The XFX HD 5770 for $163.32 at BD seems like a good value to me. $159.99 at Newegg.ca

I think the 5770 with the reference design might be a tad better but also a tad more.

5770 IS better than the 4870 or the GTX 260, it has DX 11 and eyeinfinity, better resale value, RUNS ALOT COOLER, USES A LOT LESS POWER

at 170$, the 5770 XFX is worth it

If you have no preference, the 5770 is a great card at a low price point. The runs cooler, and draws less power than the GTX260.

However, if you're still sold on the 260, TigerDirect has a sale on a GTX260 for $195.
