Well, I just bought a used i7 920 C0, AsRock Extreme x58, and some sweet 3x2gb kit of RAM

Oh and I need a very portable set of headphones, so I bought Koss KSC75 and I wanted some closed cans with good sound quality, so I got the Creative Aurvana Live!, both from the US, totaling <100$ CAD

Total for all ~570$

Its been only two hours.... during a work week. Most peeps are at work. Have some patience, this is not IRC or IM.

IF Im reading it correctly you have the cpu, mobo and ram. You need a HDD, GPU, case, psu and cpu cooler. Do you need a monitor, kb and mouse?

On hdds look at the WD Blacks. 640 (70 bucks) or 1Tb (105) are cheap, and fast.

On Power Supply Units. I like Corsiar and Seasonic. A 600 - 700 watt one will be more than enough for your needs.
The HX650 is 130 after MIR.
The TX750 is about 135 after MIR.

For a cooler. You can get a CM Hyper 212+ for a little over 29 bucks. IF you want better then it, look at the Zalman CNPS10X Flex or Prolimatech Megahalems and a pair of CM R4 fans.

For a GPU, depends on what games you play. IF its mainly a work PC and your games are flash based games....darn near any GPU will do you.

For a case you can get a CM 690 II for 99.

+1 on all he said. Although not sure if OP updated his list after you posted AkG, but his list on directcanada actually has all parts.
Although I would also suggest what AkG just did, quality parts.

I'm not all that good on Keyboard/Mouse suggestions (since I've never owned a gaming keyb/mouse), but usually Logitech, Microsoft and Steelseries are what usually buy for gaming keyb and mouse.

As well as monitors, LG or Samsung usually make very good stuff.
