First Build In a While, Mid-range Gamer.

Hey everyone! This is my first post on the forums, Love the website, read a couple reviews but never took a look at the expansive forums. the knowledge here seems to be top notch. Anyway I am building a new rig and would like some advice on better alternatives for my requirements. My current computer is starting to become quite dated and now that I have a steady well paying job I thought I would treat myself to a new gaming rig. Anyway let me set down some information on my requirements and such.

Current Rig
Mobo- Asus M2N-E
Vid Card - XFX OC2 8800GTS 320
CPU - AMD Athlon x2 6000+
Ram - 4Gb G.Skill (Can't remember specifics)
PSU - Corsair 550W (Again, cant remember specifics)

New Rig Requirements
- Silverstone Rv02 case. I am dead set on this case
- Can't exceed 1,400CAD
- I am going for a visually appealing rig as well, I would like to keep everything as black as possible.
- Must be intel chipset.

What I Use It For
- Gaming (I game a 1680x1050, not a large chance of higher resolution for a while)
- Alot of HD media
- Minor amateur video editing
- Adobe products (I.E. Photoshop CS4, After Effects etc)

Once again this is my first build in at least 3 years or so, so if I missed something or overlooked some sort of compatability issue any help would be awesome, also cheaper alternatives for what I have in the list is the real reason for posting this thread, anything that I can save some money on and not have it impact the performance heavily would be great. Thanks in advance for any help

(P.S. I left out HDD's because I am using the ones from my current rig, Newer WD drives.)
(P.P.S. I am going to run the stock Intel i7 heat sink untill I have some more money to spend on the rig.)
