Dang I need a new PSU with that motherboard my old one doesn't have the 8 pin connecter, i'm thinking a 650w corsair.
That RAM seems fine, in fact any RAM will do for a budget build so just try to pick up a kit when it's on sale or something. However don't always expect to get a good OC on cheap RAM- it's something that comes with the 'value' territory.
The 650W PSU will definitely work but it's way more than enough juice for your current configuration. Of course you can get it now and keep it for future builds or if you decide to throw in a graphic card one day, otherwise you can save some cash and go with a 400W one.

youre paying wayy too much for a dual core. x4 630 is 100 bucks. for amd, gigabyte all the way. one or two pci-e lanes, chipset 780 and up will do you good. go for the ud4p if you find it in stock ,else below 100 you can find a couple
if you already have ddr2 from your old system, then its a no brainer.

212+ for the win!

I don't have any ddr2 from the old computer setup i had a pentium D with 2 gb of ddr. Also I think it is a fair price for a cpu and I can always price match it for a slightly cheaper price. I was hopping to get a phenom series processor. Not to mention the few places I looked had the 630 for $120-135.

What is the difference between the athlon and the phenom? On the website the 555 is 10 dollars more then the 630 you linked me. Is it worth it or still a rip?

The new NCIX sale is tonight. might be worth a look to see if they have any bundles for sale or anything.

Also check out the Buy/Sell section...maybe somebody will cut you a deal.
