Default New build help

Hi guys, just put together another PC, and having a minor issue.

When I reboot my computer, it completely shuts it down (power is completely cut off), and drives stop spinning, so then they have to spin up again. Before I reopen the case and start fiddling around, could it be because my jumpers are wrong? or maybe this is just the way this motherboard is?

My motherboard is a GA-P35-DS3L.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

how do you reboot? start, shut down, reboot? or do you press the button on the case? you could have that vice versa

Start -> Restart

or even when I exit bios and the computer restarts itself, this happens.

A little clarification please. Does it boot normally after the drives spin back up? Or do you have to power off?

Yes, it boots normally. I think dangtx hit the nail on the head, I was playing with overclocks (through EasyTune), must have made it unstable

Thanks guys!
