First PC , Looking for Insight

I am personally going to be building my first PC just want to get some second opinions on parts and what not.

Any input anyone has would be appreciated , All part will be bought from NCIX. PC mainly used for gaming.

I'm going to recommend you stay away from Antec's CP line of PSUs. Their performance seems to be quite good but since they are a proprietary format, you are essentially loosing a ton of your resale value.

Yeah, two things:

1) Swap out the PSU for a more well-known brand such as the Corsair line.

2) You don't need the size of the massive Antec 1200. You could instead go with the Coolermaster CM 690 (plus seven extra 120 mm fans). Both cases are great however, and it's ultimately a decision of personal preference.

Other than that, the build looks really solid!

I'd vote to change only the PSU and Case myself. Something like a Silverstone Strider Plus 750/850 Flavour, or an HX750 from Corsair would be better suited to your needs.

The Case, you might have a better time with something more Mid-Towerish. NZXT M59/Tempest EVO, or CM Storm Scout / CM 690 II.

Good cases, excellent airflow.

Otherwise you look to have a solid build and a good idea of what you want.

Case are personal choice... the Lancool k62 look like a good candidate too , similar look but cheaper than a 1200, and better quality than a NZXT or CM.
But I see no problem if the OP want to keep is first option , the 1200, may be because I own huge case, but I will not quote the 1200 as massive, it's higher than a mid-tower, but not larger or deeper,

but it's suck to install HD in a 1200. you have to unscrew 8 screws, unplug the fan conectors, and screw the drive in the cage. and for clean the filter you have also to unscrew again the 8 screws of the cage tio bring the cage enough in front to lift the filter. The space at the back to hide the cable is narow. very hard to close the cover. But even with all those anoying thing, still one of my best looking case.

I think I am going to change my PSU but I don't know about the case. I kind of like having a big case although the CM Storm Scout does look good , will the 5870 even fit in it?

The Longest Card I have fit inside the Scout is a 9800GX2. If they are the same length, sure.
