My System Specs

Question Tax Return : Second 5850 or SSD?

I'am debating what to get a second 5850 or a SSD. This is extra money so i can do whatever i'am please with, about 350$..

If you don't play at extreme resolutions, i would go for an SSD because it will improve the overall computing experience. But if you are not satisfied with your current performance get the 5850 :)

Unless you want really smooth gaming in full Eyefinity, its not worth going another 5850.

Id get an Intel X25-M gen 2 for about $250....and pocket the rest. Unless you are a hardcore gamer and game at very high res w/ all the eye candy.... go for the SSD.

BUT I am just a wee bit biased :)~

I'd say it really depends on the kind of performance you're getting from that 5850 right now at your resolutions, but if you're happy with the performance, a $350 SSD will be a big boost to the system...at least it'll likely make it feel a lot faster than that extra 5850 would.
