( it will definitively remove any chance to get some free memory if you contradict me on this Martin )

Good you specify that BT ask for people who have experience with that board.

my OC was on an Maximus Formula III and a Gigabyte ep-55 , but I plan to replace the Gigabyte with the same board as the OP, I'm not satisfy of this $ 150 board, not the feature I need. I post my comment because it's a similar performing board compare to my ROG, and it was more to describe the temps he can expect, with a thermaright he should not be bellow my D 14 or over the 212+

well so far so good, only think that kinda pisses me off is it says 775 heatsink can be used, but theres a huge plate on the back for the socket mounting bracket so i can't use my 775 backplate for my true 120. so now i have to use the stock hsf until i get an 1156 true mounting kit. :(

heres a picture of the back, that chunk of metal is about 3/16" thick so theres no way to get the true backplate to sit in the holes. if i had any 775 pushpin style cooler i could use it. still a cool feature even though it didn't help me this time.
also, the cutout on my haf is a bit to high now, the cpu socket on this board is a little lower than my 780i, but i'm sure getting a backplate in place will still be easy enough.
