So, not that anyone cares, but this system is up and running now for a couple weeks and its been awesome.

I play L4D2 a few hours every night no issues anymore since I figured out the 4890 (was new card to me) the 4850 had been running fine until I put in the 4890.

The board/CPU/RAM is a sweet combo and runs like a top!

Nice upgrade man. You won't have to upgrade for a long time to come! Enjoy your new rig.

Not that I don't like upgrading but yeah, my 939 system was showing its age.

Just noticed you're from London too... Got the board/RAM/optical drive/OS from Canada Computers on Wharncliffe. Their prices are often very hard to beat!!

Nice rig, pretty cool to see other people from London here.
Also, are you using the stock heatsink still?

Funny you should ask.. It's a kinda annoying thing. I had a Hyper212+ that I was going to use, but when I got it all put together, the cooler was too big to fit in my case! I had to settle on an AC Freezer 7 Pro rev2 which I still think is better than the stock cooler, but not at all what I wanted.

Yeah, couple people from London! cool :) I should make a FS/FT thread of some stuff I want to sell and see if I can get some local deals going instead of shipping.

I havent touched it yet... The thing runs so awesome compared to my old rig I just don't care right now.

I think I am going to buy mattlef's Silverstone FT01B-W and maybe I'll give it a go then (I'll get better airflow, and be able to fit a better CPU cooler)

Yeah I live fairly close to that place :). I personally do my local computer shopping at Mega Computer on Richmond and Oxford though.

And just to let you know, we have a well known LN2 overclocker in London too! He does review for HWC .

Nice title, I like it. Nice to see people just go at it and build something they want. You'd be happy with your nice rig.

Just save up for a nice case so you can use your Hyper, better to keep it cool.
