Default GA-MA785GMT-UD2H is it ok for Win7 virtualization?

Looking at using GA-MA785GMT-UD2H and AMD Athlon II X3 425 Triple Core Processor Socket AM3 2.7GHZ 1.5MB Cache 95W Retail Box or

AMD Athlon II X3 435 Triple Core Processor Socket AM3 2.9GHZ 1.5MB Cache 95W Retail Box

Will I be able to run the Virtual Mode in Windows7 Pro on this motherboard (is BIOS is capable) ??

The bios don't play the game here. The cpu could limit you for Virtualisation but we don't really mind because all AMD CPU are VT capable, not like intel one. So yes you will be able to do what you want to do with that combo. But why you run the win 7 VT machine instead of getting a VMware one. They are way better compare to the windows one. Also what do you want to do in VT maybe you will need a better CPU or something special to do it.

Just did a build with that board, and yes, virtualization is an option in the BIOS. You should be good.

I am building it for a friend and they need a way to be able to run applications in Win7 x64 that may have problems otherwise. They currently do not have a version of XP that will install in a VM like Sun's VirtualBox. VMWare I assume is the same way i.e. you have to install Windows into the VM.
