Hey guys,

Since you guys may look up the Buy / Sell threads. Yes i built a PC for my uncle, in which is gonna be his first PC ever and also for his Twins which are 5yrs old

anyways, bought some parts from fellow members here and some found in the garbage..!!! haha

So here are the Specs :

Asus P4P800S-X ( Ottoyu34 )
Intel Pentium 4 HT 2.8Ghz OC 3.25Ghz ( Found in Garbage with a Working P4P800 SE )
2x 1GB Buffalo PC3200 ( Irishpride67 Still in Mail )
Sparkle 350W PSU ( Found in Garbage but Looking for a Better one )
Half Blown nVidia MX2 AGP ( Looking for a AGP 8X or pending on a local for a 3850HD )
Western digital 80GB IDE (Found in Garbage Very Noisy; Looking for a better one if you have any )

If you ask yourself, No i'm not a Garbage Raider or what ever lol, i Work for WSI ; Waste Service Inc. in which City of Ottawa does not collect Electronics anymore, i've came across some computers in which i could recycle and re-use once more :)

Total spent for this computer is 70$

Look in the FS/WTB section if you have any of the things i might require :)

Wow, How did u managed to get it so cheap, people are selling 2*1g ram along more than $70. I am trying to upgrade my parents' in law's P4 system. Looking for some more ddr ram and a AGP video card that supports HD decoding. I start to think it might be a better idea just to upgrade the whole system instead.

Wow very nice, I am trying to do something similar for my cousin. Unfortunatly his mobo a P4P800 is dead, so I am forced to use my old MSI which doesn't support FSB high enough to use his P4 2.6 chip, so I am using my old P4 1.7 and to add to all of that, I believe one of the 2 512mb sticks is dead. Wondering if I should leave it like that or try to get a few better parts to get the most out of it.

Anyhow, that's a nice job you did there. I might have a DVD-RW and a Radeon 9200 (but I think you want something more powerful than that).

For 70$, a rig with 2GB of memory is freaking awesome. But yeah, I agree that you should grab a finer PSU.
